Let's be honest—most healing journals are full of saccharine prompts about gratitude and forgiveness that make you want to throw the bloody thing across the room.

"List five things you're grateful for about your trauma."
"Visualise sending love to those who caused you pain."
Bollocks to that.

Because here's the truth: You don't need to forgive to heal. You don't need to be grateful for your trauma. You don't need to send love to people who violated your boundaries and betrayed your trust.
What you do need is truth. Boundaries. Self-compassion. And sometimes, a good dose of righteous anger.
Write about an experience that wounded you deeply. No sugar-coating, no "but they didn't mean to," no "it made me stronger." Just the raw, unfiltered truth of what happened and how it felt.
